There's a small workout room with older equipment, so guests who want a serious workout may want to get a day pass to a local gym.
THE BEST TIME
Everyone was so friendly and treated us like family. We stayed here last year during the 19th annual Myrtle Beach Marathon. It was close to the start-finish line and they also had a bus that picked us up. Stayed there as a child..everyone so friendly and accommodating.

Within walking distance of many shops and places to eat. Will go back to the Dayton House again. Dayton house is always clean .great staff . Ocean front very close to the beach. Nice tables and chairs on the lawn. We always go there for our anniversary.

Very relaxing, staff very nice, bed very comfortable,would love to come again soon. The whole staff at the hotel was fantastic. We arrived late in the evening ,tired and miserable, and they made our stay very nice.

Great place for a family vacation. My family has been coming to myrtle beach over 35 years and have stayed at Dayton house most of that time. It is a family hotel and always have felt safe there. I have stay at the Dayton House for several years now, but I have also stayed at other hotels in mrytle beach , and none of them compare to the Dayton House. The people are so friendly who work their, and somehow they remember my name from all the other times , I have stayed there. And if you have a problem, you call them , and they are their the same day to fix your problem. I love the tables outside where you came sit outside and listen to the ocean, and the yellow umbrellas are a big plus.this has to be the cleanest hotel, I have been in.

Myrtle Beach offers a plethora of dining, entertainment, shows and more. We had to change rooms a few times BUT staff helped and was very helpful. Everyone we encountered was so friendly. I cannot wait to come back soon to such a beautiful city. Great pool and picknic tables with umbrelas. Could see the ocean from our room.
